The Department of Islamic Thought, History and Culture, Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), Islamabad is organizing its first International Conference on “Advancing Islamic Finance: Principles, Practices, and Regulatory Frameworks for Sustainable Growth”. Islamic finance is rapidly growing, and there is a need to discuss its various aspects, including its principles, practices, applications, and opportunities. The conference aims to provide a platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange ideas, insights, and experiences on Islamic finance. This topic allows for a holistic examination of various aspects related to Islamic finance, including product development, capital and money markets, Shariah governance, risk management, and the application of AAOIFI’s Shariah standards. It provides an opportunity to explore the interconnectedness of these subjects and their contributions to the sustainable growth of the Islamic finance industry. The conference could also feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and paper presentations on the latest research and innovations in Islamic finance.
